Trick number 2!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Two pieces of paper.
  • a pen.
  • One envelope.

  1. Before the show, write down a four digit number that' s two times the current year. So in 2007, the number would be 4014.
  2. Seal the paper in the envelope.
  3. At the show, ask a volunteer to write down the year they were born, the year an important event took place(like starting school), the number of years that have passed since the event and the age they'll be turning this year.
  4. Add the four numbers up, then reveal the number in the envelope. The two numbers will be the same.
